Accents

A SLICE OF YOUTUBE BROUGHT TO YE.. Even though I am in an country speaking my first, and only, language, there are time where there is a complete language barrier and I just feign polite interest. Or laugh, hoping they’re telling a joke. They usually are. I bring you the accents that prove to be the most trouble, or the funniest. Starting in Wales:
this one sadly reminds me of Hannah a bit.. sorry, Han.. just the first bit of the first one

Cardiff, which I can see across the water on fine days (about 12% of the time)

I went to a Irish music evening with Liz, there was a really old chap playing the accordian that also introduced everyone and told jokes and the usual, you know, and he was Irish, and I couldn’t understand ANYTHING he was saying.. occasionally the punchline came out clearer.. sort of like ”arghe-barfe-de-goh-ffen-lash an eet was a BADGER! arf arf arf he hoo he arf arf arf”
(only watch a bit of this one, just to get an idea..it’s completely indecipherable
